I'm developing my own theory since all 3 games are still using the RE Engine. With the previously announced REX Engine to this day nowhere in sight, I'm thinking that Capcom has heard the community's cries and is developing a brand new Dino Crisis that will be the first showcase of the REX Engine 
I always thought calling it REX was a bit on the nose lol
