Near famine in Gaza as food hubs suspend aid operations for a day
Near famine on the ground and sheer terror reigning from the skies above - Gazans are in a state of utter desperation. With the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation suspending their aid operations for a day and more airstrikes launched by Israel there appears to be no end to the suffering.
Pro-Palestine activists surround UK Parliament
Activists encircled the UK's Houses of Parliament on Wednesday, carrying a red banner to symbolise Israel crossing "a red line" in Gaza.
With campaigners from Labour, disability and Jewish anti-Zionist groups, the protest stretched along Westminster bridge and around the parliament buildings.
They were joined by dissenting MPs who staged a walkout during a session of Prime Minister's Questions in order to protest Prime Minister Keir Starmer's inaction on Gaza.
Protesters said they were demanding the UK government immediately place an arms embargo and sanctions on Israel until it ended its war on Gaza and began a peace process toward a Palestinian state.
