I mean SpiderMan 2 and Mario released the same day. It sounded stupid and yet SpiderMan 2 is the fastest selling PlayStation game in history. 

A small GOW project is already focused in a very specific kind of market that doesn't even cover the totality of the GOW playerbase. That specific group of people won't have any problem knowing about the project doesn't matter if the Switch 2 releases tomorrow or a week before GOW releases lol.
