Grand Theft Auto: Recall San Andreas will restore cut/beta content
https://www.dsogaming.com/mods/grand-theft-auto-recall-san-andreas-will-restore-cut-beta-content/
A team of modders is currently working on a mod that will restore content that was cut from the game. This project is called Grand Theft Auto: Recall San Andreas, and below you can find some screenshots from it.
The following screenshots showcase some of the cut/beta content that the team was able to restore. So, if you are a die-hard fan of GTA: San Andreas, this will be a must-have mod.
For those who don’t know, Recall San Andreas is a fan-made mod for Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Its main goal is to bring back all the cool things that were removed or left out of the original game before it was released. This includes content from the beta version, like characters, missions, locations, and features that never made it into the final game.
But that’s not all! The modding team is also working hard to improve the game overall. They plan to add new features, gameplay improvements, bug fixes, extra abilities, and much more. So it’s not just about restoring lost content — it’s also about making the game better and more fun than ever before.
Right now, there’s no exact release date for when Recall San Andreas will be ready. However, the mod creators have said they plan to release it sometime later this year. Of course, delays can happen, so it’s always good to be patient. Great mods like this take time to build and polish.

This Fallout 4 Mod adds a large new world to explore and conquer
https://www.dsogaming.com/mods/this-fallout-4-mod-adds-a-large-new-world-to-explore-and-conquer/
Modder ‘Yogibird111’ has just released a brand new mod for Fallout 4, and it’s a big one. This mod adds a huge new area for players to explore and conquer. Even better, it’s completely free, just like many other great Fallout 4 mods. So, if you’re currently playing the game or thinking of jumping back in, this mod is definitely worth checking out.
Let’s talk about what this mod actually does. It takes players on a journey to a brand new location, the wild lands of Connecticut. This is not just a small add-on or side quest. It’s a large, open-world area filled with new places, interesting characters, and exciting things to do.
In this mod, you’ll be able to explore a detailed world that feels fresh but still fits perfectly into the Fallout universe. You’ll meet a diverse group of NPCs, each with their own stories, personalities, and secrets. As you talk to them and explore the land, you’ll begin to uncover a dark and mysterious conspiracy that threatens everything around you.
Of course, this wouldn’t be Fallout without some danger. You’ll also have to fight off ghouls and possibly other enemies hiding in the shadows. These battles will test your survival skills and give you even more reason to keep exploring and upgrading your gear.
The world in this mod isn’t just big, it’s full of life, challenges, and hidden secrets. It gives players many hours of extra gameplay and offers something new for fans who may have already finished the main game. Whether you love talking to NPCs, fighting off monsters, or solving mysteries, there’s something here for everyone.
So, if you’re looking for a fresh adventure in Fallout 4, this mod by Yogibird111 is a great pick. It adds new content, brings exciting challenges, and gives players another reason to spend time in the Fallout world.

Top-down modded Morrowind lets you experience Vvardenfell like it's Baldur's Gate
https://www.pcgamer.com/games/rpg/top-down-modded-morrowind-lets-you-experience-vvardenfell-like-its-baldurs-gate/
Morrowind came out in 2002, the same year as isometric RPGs like Icewind Dale 2, Divine Divinity, Freedom Force, and Dungeon Siege. Its first-person/third-person perspective was a selling point at the time, though some would argue that playing a full 3D game with randomized to-hit chances made for an unsatisfying experience. Nowadays, thanks to the mod combo of OpenMorrowind and OpenNevermind, we can experience Morrowind as if it was a top-down CRPG complete with click-to-move and having to zoom in so you can pick up small objects.
YouTuber Mehrunes Mike just uploaded a video showcasing OpenNevermind and a UI mod of his own design that gives Morrowind an action bar and a little bit of Baldur's Gate 3 flavor—minimap in the top right, enemy portraits across the top, you know the deal. It's an impressive piece of work, and I hope he shares it with the rest of us, even if it's not designed to deal with the massive inventory of the average Morrowind hoarder.
Mehrunes Mike stuck with the top-down perspective for most of his playthrough, in which he completed Morrowind's main questline, explored all the dwemer ruins, and killed every single werewolf to cap it off. There were a few moments where he had to cave in and switch back to first-person, mostly to pick up items that were tiny and obscured from above, and sometimes to go through doors.
For the most part though it works surprisingly well. It's fascinating watching someone play Morrowind from a completely different perspective yet do all the things I do, like trying to jump into the water from the top of Molag Mar and failing to clear the bottom level. And a lot of it looks great—areas with levels like the Waistworks, some of the dungeons, and anything with a bridge looks gorgeous, even if he has to rotate the camera a lot to see where he's going.

A mod that lets you play Half-Life 2 multiplayer as the mercs from Team Fortress 2 is coming to Steam
https://www.pcgamer.com/games/fps/a-mod-that-lets-you-play-half-life-2-multiplayer-as-the-mercs-from-team-fortress-2-is-coming-to-steam/
The opening seconds of the trailer sold me on the whole enterprise. It's the unforgettable scene from the start of Half-Life 2 where a Combine cop tells Gordon Freeman to pick up a piece of trash. Only you're not playing Gordon Freeman in this scenario. You're playing the Scout from Team Fortress 2, a man who has a baseball bat and thinks every problem is a fastball.
Lambda Fortress is a mod for Team Fortress 2 that lets you play Half-Life 2 (and the campaigns from other Source Engine games) in either singleplayer or multiplayer as a full suite of mercs. The rest of the trailer highlights the chaos you can cause in and around City 17 as a pack of rocket-jumping fools with access to ÜberCharge, and it looks absolutely bugfuck.
Part of what's wild about Lambda Fortress is that it'll let you bring your existing Team Fortress 2 inventories into Half-Life 2, so you and your friends can have whatever nonsense weapons and hats you've earned. It's going to have new weapons as well, and I can't wait to see what the modders have cooked up.
