Fighting that way was so fun.  Plus as you got better, the distance the enemy flew when knocked down got farther.  With some creative leveling, you could send enemies flying across the screen.  ^_^

 

I always enjoyed getting a character leveled up with melee weapons and beating the crap out of them with a super sledgehammer (I also enjoyed the cattle prod :) ).

The quote's that went with a critical hit to the head always make my day, even now I chuckle when I read the description of such events.  I don't think the image described will ever be graphically portrayed  in a game.
