DS: Probably New Super Mario Bros. Many said it was shorter than some other Mario games, but you can always revisit levels to collect all of the star coins which adds some replay value. My runner up would be Kirby Canvas Curse since it used the touch screens capabilities to the fullest.
Wii: It is close between Super Mario Galaxy and Brawl. I liked Super Mario Galaxy more, but Super Smash Bros Brawl has more replay value. I would probably pick Super Mario Galaxy since it is a true Wii experience that is bursting with creativity.
