Marijuana is illegal because prohibition didn't work.

I don't see why it shouldn't be legal... i'd legalize and regulate most drugs though.

Why is the American Director of the Office of National Drug Control Policy always nicknamed the Drug Czar ?

To me, "Drug Czar" sounds like the title of the biggest drug supplier, not the leader of the war on drugs. ;)

I think because it sounds cool. (Not joking... i remember hearing why in a special on the position... but i forget the reasoning... it was something similar to that though to set it out from other positions who go tignored.)

Either way, If Obama becomes president we'll have three presidents in a row who have used illegal drugs at some time during their life.

Considering McCain was in Vietnam it would probably be three either way.
