$2 for each software game... not each PS2.

Which seems low.

That 2$ profit per software includes the development and marketing and manufacturing costs for software, it's not the same as licence fees per game.

Yeah... but that would indicate the Sony has had more first party flops then third party flops.  Or something... wouldn't it?  Or are we counting "buy-offs" in there too.
