I been enjoying Oblivion Remastered. They did a very good job keeping all the charm of the original while upgrading the graphic. It rare I play a remake that both looks like a major upgrade graphically without losing any of what made the original feel special. I guessing they manage that because they somehow kept the original engine for handing gameplay while doing the graphic rendering using unreal engine 5.
I wonder is this something that been done before with remakes? I don't remember another case where 2 engines was use in the same game in this way but that might just be because I never paid enough attention.
I officially decided am going to keep using my 3090 until at least 60 series/udna 5 comes out. After I finish mowing my grass yesterday my allergies was killing me and thinking I could of spent last 2 hours playing Oblivion instead of being missable mowing my grass. I started doing some research and ended up taking the money that I had put aside for a 5090 and spending it on a MAMMOTION LUBA 2 AWD instead. Not really a gaming purchase but if things go as plan it will give me a extra 2 hours of gaming a week during the months grass need to be mowed so somewhat related.
