They've done a great job with the remake. 8 hours in and I can tell I'm gonna spend a lot of time with this.

I did about 20 hours of the original Oblivion on Series X so I haven't seen most of the game before. It was a little hard to play for the first time after 500 hours of Skyrim.

Is the shopkeepers money not going down a bug? It tells you how much money they have below their name when you're barterng but when you sell to them it never goes down like Skyrim.

Not that I'm complaining as all that did in Skyrim is meant I fast traveled from city to city to sell all my crap.

That's basically how much money they can spend on an individual transaction, not how much they have to spend, so for example, if a shopkeeper shows 1200 but you have an item worth 2000 (which you actually have the skills to sell for at full price), the shopkeeper would only be able to buy it for 1200 so you'd basically lose out on 800.

In my experience, once you reach your level 20s, you will be drowning in money anyway, bandits will be running around in full glass armour, Lmao. I always sell to the Imperial City shops and never really paid much attention to how much I'm selling stuff for. But you can also invest into shops to increase the amount of individual gold they have too once you increase mercantile.

Some shopkeepers have more money available, some are easier to haggle, some have better mercantile, etc.
