Well, the C in CRPG doesn't stand for a country but I agree that it doesn't matter. The J in JRPG stands more for the idea and philosophy that genre came from and not who it's made from. As much as a Japanese studio could work on a WRPG. 

Yeah, point exactly - I consider South Park to be western made JRPG, just as Clair Obscur seems to be - overall feel of the game and expectations when it's classified as one, rather than country of origin.
