Played for 3 hours and I'd say it's a very good remaster. Just some pro's and cons.
Pros
+ The combat feels wayyy better. enemies react better to being hit. They also don't take forever to kill. It feels a little better paced and not too chaotic like the original. Also my spells actually hit the target most of the time. I'd say this is the best combat experience i'd had in an elder scrolls game.
+ Horse Riding is better. The animations don't look stiff and awkward for once.
+They kept the funny AI
+Very nice graphics and details added to the world.
+Plenty of great options in the menu fov slider, no dialogue zoom option, turn off head bobbing, etc
Cons
- As others have mentioned the color grading looks off. too much brown in many areas although it doesn't look as bad on a clear day
-Performance is inconsistent with some framedrops on PS5 performance mode. In most areas it seems stable but others like inside the oblivion gates i noticed significant drops.
-While horseback riding is better there is no attacking while riding you have to dismount first.
These are just my initial impressions after a few hours but i'm really enjoying the game overall. It kinda feels like we got a new Elder Scrolls game although not really.
