If you don’t wanna worry about the cumbersome nature of a nearly 25 year old game, there is a group of modders remaking Morrowind in the Skyrim Special Edition engine called Skywind. You can easily find YouTube videos on what the gameplay is like, but currently no release date.

Same mod group are releasing another mod later this year called Skyblivion, which same concept, but for Oblivion lol. It’s a good year to be an Oblivion fan!
