Got to stage 5 and gave up. The game is too dark, it has a bad camera and the movement system makes it all feel very slow. It's just a frustrating experience.
AciD2 is way better. Bright palettes means levels are easier to discern what's what. Camera is improved to not always get caught behind the environment. Movement is smoother to execute (as is crawling/ standing/ leaning against the wall). Will probably finish it unless I hit a difficulty spike.
But I will say I hate the way Snake looks. Very awful attire.
