Houthis report new US air strikes on Yemen
The Houthi-affiliated media outlet Al Masirah TV has reported that new US air strikes are hitting Yemeni cities.
At least 15 air attacks hit the island of Kamaran, located in the province of Hodeidah in western Yemen, a location that has been repeatedly targeted in the past few weeks.
The outlet also said “US aggression” targeted the al-Zahir district in al-Bayda governorate.
There were no immediate reports about potential casualties, but the ministry has reported more than 120 people have been killed as a result of US air strikes since last month.
More US air strikes hit Yemen’s Sanaa, Sadaa
A series of new US air strikes have targeted Yemeni cities, according to Houthi-affiliated Al Masirah TV.
- At least 13 raids hit the al-Salem and Kitaf districts of the Saada governorate in northern Yemen over the past few hours.
- In the Amran governorate located north of the capital Sanaa, US bombs hit the Harf Sufyan district.
- Air strikes were also reported in the outskirts of Sanaa.
Fast boats open fire on vessel east of Yemen: UKMTO
The UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) reports that armed individuals on small boats opened fire on a vessel some 100 nautical miles (185km) off the coast of the Yemeni city of Aden, but there were no casualties.
Yemen’s Houthis, who have vowed to keep launching attacks to thwart Israel and the US in Gaza and across the region, have not yet commented on the incident.
