Looks interesting. Why is the style so different from other Tales games? Variety is nice though.

Uh...no. This looks like any other Tales in terms of mechanics and such. The style was just used to show off the 360's power... :3 And all Tales stories are pretty complex.

If you want a "mature" storyline then you should get ToS2 because that's said to have the darkest story in the Tales series.

Didn't Namco say that ToV would explore complex themes?  ToS2's story is dark?  Where did you heard about that?

 


Well, Tales of Vesperia is about government/noblity/etc. so of course that's complex, BUT like I said all Tales stories are complex. Are Tales are no different from ToV.

As for ToS2 having a dark story...Nintendo Power said it might be the darkest in the series and I bet that's the case. I mean...there was a slaughter in Palmacosta...WTF? X_X
