Minecraft was such a fun and genuinely funny movie! Kids loved it alright but I don't think it's completely fair to say it's a movie just for kids. Some of the writing had that silly 80s/90s style to make parents feel nostalgic. The movie didn't take itself seriously for a second and it works.
Or maybe I'm just not cool enough to see how cringle it is lol.
A bunch of teenagers were repeating all the meme lines like 'Chicken Jockey!' and 'flint 'n steel!' heh yeah it was fun. Go see it.
