I imagine the only reason they doing this is because MW2 is currently absolutely plagued with cheaters from what I've heard and is essentially unplayable so they're just going to do a simple port of them both to Xbox Series X/PS5/Switch 2. Make some big $ from them since they're loved but fix the multiplayer too, a bit weird though, because these will likely be huge releases as we saw when MW2 was made backwards compatible it shot up on the most played charts, could this hurt the current COD or harm the upcoming COD?
