Lol. It's Minecraft. It's not that serious. Yeah, Minecraft is a massive IP but it's not a serious IP with deep lore or any storytelling, its spinoffs too are completely non-serious and like half of its fanbase is children, if not more. Minecraft Movie isn't the first kid focused videogame adaptation to do well, and by all accounts kids loved both them films and Minecraft.
Not sure why we need to doom the entire industry because a kid focused movie of a child friendly videogame did well. Switch your mind off and have some fun, stop over-analysing everything and taking everything so seriously. The videogame to film adaptation industry isn't doomed because of one film, a Fortnite film will be next and that too will obviously be full with memes.
But, a Doom film, for example, is not going to suddenly have the floss dance in it and Jack Black as the Main Character because Minecraft did well. Lol. Chill out! Let the kids have some fun! Maybe you too will enjoy it, I don't even think the general opinion is that it's a terrible film, the main criticism is around it being bland but even I see a lot of adults saying they had fun with the jokes in it.
And just remember all the films that you liked as a kid that would have an adult talking about them like you are now
