Umm...pretty much every Tales (and most JRPGs) are save the world...this will be no different :P Not that that's bad.

Who are writing the stories for these JRPGs? Do Japanese gamers even care about stories in their RPGs? Can't they write a JRPG story that isn't save the world? I try to like JRPGs as best as I can but it is hard when 90% of them have generic stories.

 

 

I'm the same way.  For some reason I love to play RPGs.  Or more correctly, I love to try out RPGs.  But almost every time the story ends up disappointing me, and the gameplay isn't enough to carry me to the end of the game.  So sick of being the teenage male protaganist who has to save the world with a spunky, yet affectionate female companion and a sidekick of some sort (whether human or creature).
