hey KN I m interested to know what you thought of Heavenly sword?did try to unlock some combats?how was it graphically and story line wise?

I actually thoroughly enjoyed Heavenly Sword.  The story was pretty darn good for a short hack-n-slash.  The voice acting was pretty well done as well.  The graphics most of the time were really quite exceptional.  There were some slowdowns in a few places but overall the game was excellent.  There are a few complaints here and there:  occasionally when she would do one of her special attacks, she would go through the motions, killing some bad guy, but there was no-one in her grasp.  It was weird and happend 3 or 4 times through the entire game.  The frame rate was solid most of the time but occasionally slowed.  Strangely, it didn't usually happen when there was a lot going on in the battlefield.  I suspect it was just areas that needed some extra work and the developers ran out of time.  Lastly, Nariko is, well, a stunning computer-generated representation of the female physique.  I was a bit dissappointed that her hair was a low-polygon bundle rather than a bit more hair-like.  That hair is part of her charm and it would have been great if they had put the level of detail in her hair that they did on the waterfalls in the game.  Lastly, the water animations when fighting the snake-tounged chick were pretty weak -- that is the waves and the part where she burrowed underwater to strike you.  Very last gen.   Overall, though, great graphics and a FUN game.  Like my previous complaints about single player games, this one was too short to justify $60.  I'm glad I rented it as it didn't take long to finish it.

As a bargain-bin game of, say $19.95, I would buy this and add it to my collection to play through 3 or 4 times more.  Given the ending I don't see how they could make a Heavenly Sword II without it basically being an entirely new game.
