Two people killed in Israeli attack on Lebanon, Health Ministry says
Lebanon’s Health Ministry says two people have been killed in an Israeli attack in the town of Zibqin in southern Lebanon.
The initial toll was one person killed, but one wounded person later died, the ministry said.
Separately, the Israeli army said in a statement that it had targeted alleged Hezbollah members in the Zibqin area while they were “attempting to rebuild Hezbollah terror infrastructure sites”.
The latest attack comes a week after Israel targeted Beirut for the first time since a fragile truce was announced in November.
