The low software sales of the PSP will lead to lower and lower third party support, so if Sony doesn't release a PSP2 soon the PSP could sit on the market for a long time without any games (which hurts the image of the PSP wil consumers and retailers); at the same time the PSP has only been on the market for a little over 3 years, and the market has not been kind to consoles which are replaced in less than 5 years. |
I don't know, the 4 year life cycle of the original XBox sure seemed to work out well for Microsoft. All I want from a PSP2 is dual analog. Why that wasn't included with the original PSP is beyond me.
