I've played all of them.

The first one was good, but it became so popular because it was the first game to be a true contender for GTA. The second and third ones were great and moved the franchise forward. The fourth one with the superpowers fell a bit short of the third, at least in my opinion, and Gat of of Hell followed the same path.
