Netanyahu told military to bomb ‘everything’ in Gaza after October 7: Report
Israel’s Benjamin Netanyahu thumped the table and instructed the Israeli military to bomb Gaza “with everything you have”, following the October 7 Hamas attack on Israel.
Israeli newspaper Ynet, citing Israeli Knesset member Gadi Eisenkot and other military sources, said that Netanyahu had the outburst during a meeting with military officers who presented him with a list of 1,500 targets the Israeli military had struck across Gaza in the days after October 7.
According to the report, Netanyahu demanded to know why the military did not have 5,000 targets on the list for attack, to which he was told: “We don’t have 5,000 approved targets.”
“I’m not interested in targets,” Netanyahu said.
“Take down houses, bomb with everything you have,” he said, according to the report.
