Possibly, but I don't see that stopping Valve from refining Steam OS for other handheld/Desktop use down the road.
Once It's refined for Desktop, I'm more likely going to switch to using it, and then have Windows as my fall-back for regular apps like Sony Vegas.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
