This dumb prick, it's on him that Russia is escalating, though isn't it hilarious that Russia gets a "I'm considering" whilst Ukraine doesn't get the same, instead Ukraine gets a "Already done" and punished multiple times by Trump, while Trump has yet to punish Russia once. This post simply reads like someone has told Trump he has been looking too much like a Russian bitch lately and has to pretend like he isn't owned. Also, Russia already has major banking sanctions and tariffs? On Russia? How? Is America still trading with them? Lol. |
Pretend is the right word.
How much does the US import in Russian goods?
Trump has threatened Russia with tariffs, but Russian exports to the US have significantly decreased in recent years due to Western sanctions imposed in response to the invasion of Ukraine.
According to the Office of the United States Trade Representative, the US imported $3bn in goods from Russia in 2024. By comparison, imports from Canada totalled $412.7bn.
In 2021, the year before Russia launched its invasion, the US bought $29.7bn in Russian exports, government data shows.
Russia exported 192 billion in goods in 2024.
Trump says ‘more difficult’ to deal with Ukraine than Russia
The US president has renewed his criticism of Kyiv’s approach to his diplomatic push to end the war, saying that it has been “easier” to deal with Moscow. “I’m finding it more difficult, frankly, to deal with Ukraine, and they don’t have the cards,” he said in the Oval Office.
Trump has been stressing for weeks that Ukraine’s position in the conflict is weak and dependent on US support. The US president underscored his earlier statement threatening Russia with sanctions and tariffs for bombing Ukraine, saying that he is “trying to help” Kyiv.
“Ukraine has to get on the ball and get a job done,” he told reporters.
