XBXSS, PS5 DE, and NSWLite all performed pretty well… meanwhile, PS5Pro & XBSX struggled to find much of an audience. Reads to be that JP is an extremely price sensitive market at the moment. MHWilds looks to be the biggest PlayStation 5 debut in JP, no? Those are some insane opening figures!
I can’t even imagine how massive launching MHWilds on NSW2 (in addition to all the other systems) would have been. I could easily have seen this game crushing through 10-11mil WW, and possibly becoming the largest video game debut ever!
