Israeli settlers attack village near Hebron
The assault has taken place in the village of Asfi, south of Hebron, in the occupied West Bank, our colleagues at Al Jazeera Arabic report. At least two Palestinians have been injured.
It comes after a settler attack on the village of Burqin on Saturday night that damaged Palestinian homes and vehicles.
Israeli settlers, often with the protection of Israeli security forces, regularly storm Palestinian villages and attack homes and property.
From October 7, 2023, to December 31, 2024, the UN’s Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs recorded at least 1,860 cases of settler violence in the occupied West Bank.

An Israeli military vehicle rammed into a Palestinian man’s car near a mosque in Tulkarem in the occupied West Bank, reports the Wafa news agency.
The man suffered injuries and has been hospitalised.

Israeli forces destroy more homes in West Bank’s Tulkarem
Israeli bulldozers have been demolishing more Palestinian homes and infrastructure since this morning in Tulkarem and its Nur Shams refugee camp in the occupied West Bank.
Israeli authorities have been advancing their demolitions with the intent of paving a new road starting from the besieged camp’s square to one of its neighbourhoods for military transport as they expand their attacks on the occupied territory.
Tulkarem and its camp have been subjected to a large-scale military attack that has been going on for more than three weeks.
Israeli military reports killing 25 Palestinians in West Bank in February
The Israeli military says its soldiers killed approximately 25 “terrorists” in the occupied West Bank, mostly in its besieged northern parts, in the second month of 2025.
About 350 “wanted individuals” were arrested in February, it said in a situation report, claiming that 120 weapons were confiscated and hundreds of explosives were destroyed.
Israeli military forces will “continue to thwart terrorism” throughout the occupied territories, the Israeli army added, in reference to its major military assault that has left behind much destruction.
Palestine ministry warns of West Bank annexations as part of ‘Greater Jerusalem’
The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has warned against Israeli authorities’ initiation of procedures to annex large parts of the occupied West Bank under the pretext of establishing a “Greater Jerusalem”.
It said in a statement that Israeli authorities’ discussions surrounding annexation, and efforts to put it to a vote in the Knesset, are “major crimes” that fall within systematic policies to displace Palestinians and destroy the foundations of their life with the ultimate goal of undermining a two-state solution.
The ministry said it will continue to internationally follow up on the issue, and called for “serious international action” to prevent the devastating impacts of such a move on prospects of peaceful resolution of the conflict.
