The pricing is certainly where it needs to be at $600 msrp for 9070 XT. 9070 they really should have priced it at $500 because 9070 XT kinda makes 9070 be in a weird spot. But regardless, both of them makes 5070 DoA in virtually every category.
As for performance, keep in mind that is first party benchmarks so certainly wait for reviews. Black ops is certainly carrying the raster performance quite hard as it usually does for Radeon but otherwise it's good, hell excellent even for it's price. Ray Tracing while quite improved, it's clear that Nvidia still has the lead, especially when you have heavy hitters like Cyberpunk. Realistically, I think 9070XT will be at least 10-20% behind Nvidia with heavy RT titles, maybe even 25-30% behind with path tracing. But still big improvements over RDNA 3.
FSR4 is sadly RDNA 4 exclusive but needed to be done. RDNA 3/2/1 will continue to be stuck with temporal upscaling garbage but hopefully they got a good deal on it.
So all and all, if 9070 XT matches Raster performance against 5070 Ti for $150 less ($600 msrp) in reviews, that is pretty awesome pricing and should put a ton of pressure on Nvidia, especially if FSR 4 turns out to be on par with DLSS 3 or close enough.
