On the one hand, the Xbox/Game Pass fan in me says it's no issue at all that Fable has been delayed, Xbox's 2025 is already incredibly stacked, it's the difference between 9 releases instead of 10, Lol. Plus Fable was always 50/50 so I was mentally preparing for it anyway and I think a lot of people thought it would slip, even the insiders dating it said it was either November or December.

But the Fable fan in me is screaming and crying, Lmao. Oh well, it isn't like I will have a shortage of games to play, I already can't keep up. I'm actually more convinced now as well that GTA 6 will make 2025 because I think if GTA 6 slipped then Microsoft would rather crunch the shit out of Playground to get Fable out before GTA, Lol. But it needs more time so I'd rather they take their time and not rush.

The footage they shown was absolutely stunning, it looks too good to be true, I will say I am still cautiously optimistic about the combat, I'm not talking about the animations, they need more work but it's a year from release now and this footage is already outdated by at least months so I'm not concerned about that, but I just hope the combat is fun, I didn't find The Witcher 3's combat to be all that fun, Lol. But Fable never had good combat so I'll keep an open mind that they can change it into something good.

Anyway, it is great that Xbox is in a position now where they can delay a major release which is highly anticipated and the collective response it basically "Okay, I have enough to play anyway" and no longer dooming about Xbox's line-up or business, Lmao. They've finally released the point where they simply have too much releasing. Though if I'm being honest even if Microsoft had 40 titles releasing in 2025 I'd still be sad about Fable being delayed, I am so desperate to play it, Lol.

Also...Now we go back to a very high chance of Fable and Forza Horizon releasing in the same year.
