🇫🇷🇬🇧 Macron announced that France and the UK have prepared a plan for security guarantees for Ukraine, potentially involving military deployment. He clarified that "they will not necessarily be stationed at the front line" but will be present "as a guarantee."

Not on the frontlines sounds like a complete waste of time, Putin will simply test the boundaries and Europe will say "Stop being naughty!" far from the frontlines, then when Putin pushes even more, Europe will quickly pull its troops away from danger (out of the country). NATO is the best guarantee of security, soldiers not even on the frontline don't put Europe in any danger.
