It makes sense for Microsoft to make a very powerful machine next, considering their current strategy (selling GamePass subscriptions). However, it would have to be an extremely powerful machine to the point that it would overlap at least two normal console generations, because their first party studios will now, more than ever, have to create their games with other consoles' specs in mind. That way, they'll be able to keep selling the same console for years to come. But I'm not surethat wouldbe a viable strategy, since momentum and interestdie down with the passing of time. But I'm curious to see what they do next. I think the GamePass is great product, and their efforts with first party games have been great lately.
