It is probably for the best when you completely miss someone's point, Lol. G2 wasn't saying "Avowed is great because it's better than/like a game from 2007". He was pointing out that there are different types of RPGs which focus on different things and Avowed is more like a Mass Effect style RPG than an Elder Scrolls style RPG in its design goals.
