Just makes me think they're going to try to manipulate Ukraine's elections and install a Russian puppet because if they think removing Zelenskyy will suddenly make Ukraine surrender then they're very likely wrong, they are far more likely to end up with someone even more aggressive in dealing with Russia, or someone like Zaluzhnyi, a straight up military general, Lol.
But one way to boost Zelenskyy's numbers is for a foreign country like America to attack him so even that will backfire too so I don't see any upside in this plan from America unless they're going to work with Russia to try interfere in the elections, or once Zelenskyy wins, they will just say that Zelenskyy rigged elections and they can no longer support him.
