It's not that serious lol. I apologize if that offended. But you did spin the 9.5 million shipment into a negative by telling someone "but it's still a decline" in an article. It's like you two just can't help yourselves. You tend to interpret or predict or spin everything Playstation negatively. And you have a habit of misreading posts and making strawman arguments which you're doing it again here. No one said GTA6 will "drive hardware numbers to insane heights" Why do you keep exaggerating and saying things that aren't true? Or do you consider going up year over year "insane heights"? We had our small talks before about GTA6's impact so I'm not going to repeat myself here and derail the thread. But again, I didn't mean to offend. |
Thats fine my friend. I am not falling into a depressive black whole🤣!👍 I am sorry if i offended anyone by "spinning numbers into negative" by mentioning that its still down. In fact we are all console gamers. I just wanted to prevent anyone to be dissapionted if hardware sales increase will be lower than expected. You know i am in gaming since the 80 years. I saw console generatkons come and go. I saw the downfall of Atari, the rise and the downfall from Sega, i saw the hights and the lows from Sony as well as from Nintendo and i am experiencing the downfall of MS. There was always hooing that old systems recover when game X/Y comes out. I experienced it with Super Mario World 2 in 1995 wich did not prevent the SNES fall, i saw it with the N64, we all experienced the sharp decline of Playstation 3, the WiiU is also no stranger to me, like Sony handhelds or even the old Xbox who was not able to dramatically prolong its lifecycle despite Halo 2 was selling ~3.3- 4 million copies day 1, annihilating even Ocarina Of Time's launch. Both where record numbers for that time. There is no "Playstation magic because its the Playstation", in the end of the day its only a console like others. When new hardware comes, old HW goes. PS1 and PS2 where exteeme outliners like the DS/3DS. The 3DS maybe had the best decline curves ever if you look at 2015-2017. But like i said these are expectations. Where the Switch goes we have to see but its not looking that bad. For the PS5 its a bit early. Its in decline but also here we have to wait how things will turm out...
