Avowed is tremendous. I’m over 30 hours in and I’m still loving every second of the combat, story, and exploration. It takes the Bethesda RPG framework and makes everything feel so much better moment to moment.

I haven’t run into the issues with feeling underleveled that I’ve seen others mention. I’d recommend doing as many side quests as possible, breaking down all common gear (as opposed to selling), and upgrading armor and weapons regularly. I’ve found the default difficulty to be great.

i enjoyed Avowed! i have issues with its character writing, a surprising weak point, but it’s a fun action RPG where combat and exploration are its strongest points.
