I rarely play remakes.
RE1 was a groundbreaking experience, but I consider the GameCube Remake the best horror game and remake of all time. Just... perfect!
RE2 Remake was good, but I much preferred the style and vibes of the original.
RE3 Remake was a real disappointment from what I've seen. Nemesis and Tyrant in remakes aren't scary at all. Granted I'm old now and not as easy to scare. Man... I miss being a kid...
The Twin Snakes sucked balls... a colossal disappointment. Words wouldn't describe my sheer excitement when I saw the first screenshots on GamePro.
Loved Final Fantasy 7 "Remake" and Rebirth but I'm not sure they qualify as Remakes, and they just don't quite convey the same feel of the original.
I really enjoyed completing Oddworld New n Tasty but you can't beat that pre-rendered background presentation. I only played the demo of the original though.
