So far:
Mario & Luigi: Brothership - I really liked it. The battle system is great and aesthetically, it's a step in the right direction, specially the character models, but the areas in general felt a bit bland. I was worried about not having Yoko Shimomura, but honestly this game has the best battle and final boss theme in the series. Ironically, even though the game is about connections, this is the most disconnected game in the franchise. I expect a more expansive world for the next entry. Also, it goes on for a bit too long. Solid 7/10.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown - Started last year around June but stopped for a while because of work and kind of left it behind, but picked it back up last week and finished it today. And what a game. It's probably in my top 5, maybe even top 3 metroidvanias of all time. All the abilities, the battle mechanics and the platforming are immense fun, and the boss battles are very challenging and creative. I really liked the story and characters too. It's a shame the team behind it got disbanded because I'd go for a sequel day one. 9/10
