If you look at all the platforms you will notice a rise in digital sales, digital formats have been evolving over the years from MP3/MP4 to MKV, Flac and so on. Storage drives have also been vastly improving over the years compared to the Blu Ray disc and it's no surprised why even the consoles have adopted storage drives over memory cards from the PS1 days. Nintendo wouldn't even have a monopoly, because they do not appeal to absolutely everyone on the planet. There are people that play on multiple platforms ranging from mobile to PS to Xbox and PC, even PC handheld devices like the Steam Deck and Rog Ally. Gaming won't die when consoles die, because there will still be mobile gaming PC's and PC handhelds. Gaming is not a "console only" thing, it's also a part of PC gaming. Yes I can argue against it, stop pulling a Kerotan and acting like I cannot, you've been like this with other folks on this site and it is really, really getting old and annoying. Gamers would not all stop gaming if it was just PC/mobile. In fact more folks have been moving to PC over the past 2 decades, but knowing you you'll claim it's minute, despite all streamers having PC's, people buying and even building their own, and the rise of users on Steam every single year. Why would I "whine" after the PC?, isn't that what you're still doing towards said platform this entire time?. You keep making it out like PC is this rotten, "non-gaming" platform that should be ignored or forgotten about when the consoles die off, and it's just so fucking weird to see you gawk on about it in this manner. |
A mobile phone is not a gaming device. Its a different targeting group. Its limited gaming without physical buttons. Yes you can add controllers but mobile games are not made for controller use in mind. Before i would use a phone for gaming (😂) i would even take a cheap assed PC. If it was only PC gaming will get worse. Worse for us, also for you my friend. No physical games. No launches where you wait in front of a store lining up with 100s of people. Just sitting in front of your PC/Smartphone screen whatever you use and wait till launch day midnight till you can press the download button. Thats amazing!! Full of emotions?😄 Watch the Videos how people stormed in stores for te PS4/ Wii/ Switch launch! Also watch the release of new games especially Pokémon/ Zelda/ Mario. Watch how many people wait for the new GTA in front of stores and guess what? It won't be the PC version they are waiting for! This launch day will be blue and green! There is even a better chance it gets red as well day 1. These are real emotions not some more pixels you pay 5000$ for. Its like prefering to watch a concert digital on youtube/ live in TV instead of going there (Corona greetings😂). Many people would loose their jobs if gaming area in stores close and they need to find something else... be a computer specialist or get no job with gaming. Not for me!
