Switch is just about to pass PS2 in North America, so that milestone is just about passed (and for the US it already was passed).  I do find it interesting that Switch total hardware is closer to DS total in North America than it is in the US.  There is a non-trivial chance Switch will take the #1 spot in North America, but the DS will keep it in the US.
