The pro, at 999$ is probably sold at a good premium, so they might keep it at 999$ to not scare people too much with the price.

AFAIK import tariffs are paid at customs clearance, not retail. So it's manufacturer asking price + tariff and then sold to retail, not retail + tariff sold to end costumer.

So for imported games for instance it would be more like $30-40 +25%... and then up to retail to tranfer the extra costs entirely or partially with a price hike.
