The pandemic only helped. I am not saying Switch outsold it because of that, there are many reasons. But it's started from that point, outpacing it every single month.

If it helped the Switch, then it also helped every other console in the same vein. All things considered, the Switch was at an disadvantage because everyone was at home and the appeal of the portable aspect decreased. This idea that the pandemic helped Switch sales is a fallacy.
