Since the gameplay areas in Avowed seem to be mostly semi-open world sections, 40fps should hopefully stay consistent throughout.

The 40fps mode in Starfield felt almost game-changingly great for a while... until you returned to base-building or exploring planets, then it was back to massive drops and 10+ crashes a day.
