Sony is already third party. Most of their games are available on windows, with at least one game on Switch (Lego Horizon). It's a matter of time for them to start releasing everything everywhere. Microsoft started slowly too.

Virtually all their pre-PS4 library of Sony games are not available on anything other than a PlayStation. The only workaround to that is using a PS Plus launcher will let you stream many games on PC.

There's even some PS4 games like Knack & Knack II, The Order 1886, Concrete Genie, Fat Princess Adventures, etc. that aren't on PC either.

Sony is starting to "swim" in the third-party pool, but not near as much as Microsoft.

The Last of Us Part 1 and 2, God of War and Ragnarok, Horizon Zero Dawn and Forbidden West, Spider Man 1 and 2, Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, Ratchet and Clank and Ghost of Tsushima . Literally all of their biggest IPs are available on a different platform, meaning you don't need a PlayStation to play them. That's what a third party is in my view.

Judging from your logic, we can say that Microsoft is not third party either, since there's no Fable and Halo games on PlayStation, for example.
