Yeah, Dragon Age is over, and they're going to blame everyone but themselves and cite every reason except the fact that they made a game most fans did not want.
And people need to stop with the "favorite studio" nonsense when that's based on games from years ago, especially after those studios release something subpar in the time between. They are not what they once were.
Mass Effect 4 is going to sell a lot of units. They could release an absolute piece of trash and it would still be a financial success. However, if it's significantly below expectations in terms of reception or sales then BioWare will be in serious trouble. A studio named "BioWare" might still be there but a lot of the same people won't. On the other hand, if Mass Effect ever reaches such depths that EA decides to end the franchise then BioWare will almost certainly be wiped off the map. In the world of triple A publishing, a studio is only as valuable as their best performing property.
