Well, I guess you absolutely nailed it. Steam has a major UI design issue, which is leading to a discoverability problem, only it's for sales and events instead of games. Steam really is in its own league to have such a problem.

EDIT: Of course the issue is that Steam's own Lunar New Year Sale is not visible on that page, so even that's not comprehensive. Wow.

From what I see, the ongoing sales appear in chronological order, from newest to oldest. Since Steam's own Lunar Lake started on the 20th you have to click 4 times to the right to find it.

Also, you can get to this page from another place in the front page: clicking the "Specials" tag in the Browse Categories menu on the left.

I'm starting to think that Steam deserves its own manual, so we can fully use its tools .
