This is why I'm irked by AAA games being built entirely around upscaling/TAA, because turning them off means dithering/aliasing up the wazoo, but using it gives you smears and the ghosting up the wazoo. You aren't winning as a customer with that dev mindset.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
