Can't say I agree.
Sony has put out a lot of quality this generation. I've enjoyed a ton of their first party games, and I'm excited for stuff like Ghost, Intergalactic and Wolverine coming in the future. Their first party output is similar to the PS4. I just think people have been more "stingy" on what they count as first party this generation. Some don't consider Helldivers 2 as a first party game nowadays but would associate the PS2 with the Ratchet and Sly trilogies back in the day.
I think ultimately a lot of PlayStation fans expected more out of Bluepoint too soon. The only other "full game" they did besides Demon's Souls was a remake of Shadow of the Colossus. Even I was surprised they were still listed as a support studio on that Sony document a while back lol. Now it makes a bit more sense.
