In GoWA, you choose 3 core aspects: a main weapon, skillset (based on God allegiance) and a sub weapon (or maybe these are in maps). This is very easy to being over to a GoW live service:
Offence: melee, main weapon (there's 4 in GoWR), a support weapon (based on support characters).
Defence: armour and shields (both with unique properties)
Other: Amulet (+ skill set can be added based on GoWAmp for specialised attacks/ buffs.

Explore levels fighting creatures and other bosses with friends, could be cool. Then you have 6 mainline GoW games to continue to add content. 7 if you include Betrayal, 8 if GoWAmp is a separate drop.

In many ways I wonder if the rumours of GoW remake were somewhat incorrect, and that large sections (if not all) of the games were being remade as content for this game.

I dunno... Mp GoW actually sounds like fun as long as their is content. Valhalla is fun (when you figure it out), the trials in both GoW18 and GoWR make for fun challenges. With a friend or 2? Sounds like a good time to me.

Just sounds like modern game bloat generic bullshit.
